Day 45 of 365
Your Identity in Christ
2 Corinthians 5:17
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Reflection
Who are you? Your answer to that question shapes everything. If you identify by your past, you're trapped. If you identify by your mistakes, you're condemned. If you identify by others' opinions, you're unstable. But if you identify as a new creation in Christ, you're free. Your identity isn't based on what you've done but on what Christ has done for you. You're not defined by your worst moment. You're defined by His best moment - the cross. You're forgiven, loved, chosen, adopted, redeemed, justified, sanctified, and being transformed. The old you - the shame, the guilt, the failure - is gone. The new you - radiant, righteous, and empowered - is here. Live from your new identity, not your old one. You're not who you were. You're who He says you are.
