Day 44 of 365
When Prayer Feels Pointless
Luke 18:1
Luke 18:1
“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”
Reflection
You've prayed for months, maybe years, and nothing has changed. Prayer feels pointless. Why keep asking? Jesus anticipated this question and told a story: a widow persistently petitioned an unjust judge until he gave her justice. Jesus' point? If persistence works with an unjust judge, how much more with a loving Father? Keep praying. Don't give up. God isn't ignoring you; He's working in ways you can't see. Sometimes delays build character. Sometimes timing isn't right. Sometimes the answer is 'not yet' or 'something better.' But persistent prayer is never wasted. It changes you even when circumstances don't change. It builds faith. It aligns your heart with God's. It positions you for breakthrough. Today, pray again. Believe again. Trust again. Don't give up.
