Day 44 of 365

Persistent Prayer

Romans 12:12

Romans 12:12

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Insight

Jesus taught persistence in prayer through the parable of the widow and the unjust judge. If relentless asking works with a corrupt judge, how much more with a loving Father? God isn't annoyed by your repeated requests - He's moved by your faith and persistence. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. Your breakthrough might be one prayer away.

Reflection

What have you stopped praying about because you're tired of asking? What if God wants you to keep praying because He's about to answer?
