Day 192 of 365
Spirit-Empowered Living
Acts 1:8
Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Insight
You can't be an effective witness in your own power. You need the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you, empowering you to be His witness. This isn't about trying harder—it's about surrendering more fully to the Spirit's leading. When you walk in the Spirit, He produces fruit, gives gifts, and empowers ministry. Don't attempt Christian living in human strength. Depend on the Spirit. He'll give you power to be Christ's witness wherever you go.
Reflection
Are you trying to live the Christian life in your own strength or the Spirit's power? How can you depend more fully on Him today?
