“Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Insight
Jesus connects your treasure to your heart. Where you invest reveals what you value. Earthly treasures - money, possessions, achievements - are temporary. Only three things last: God, His Word, and people. Wise investors put resources into what endures. Generosity, evangelism, discipleship, and service are eternal investments with guaranteed returns.
