Day 63 of 365

Healthy Boundaries Honor God

Galatians 6:2, 5

Galatians 6:2, 5

“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ... For each one should carry their own load.”

Insight

There's a difference between burdens (heavy, temporary crises we help each other carry) and loads (daily responsibilities each person must carry). Healthy boundaries mean helping with burdens without enabling people to avoid their loads. Saying 'no' isn't selfish; it protects your capacity to say 'yes' to what God called you to. Boundaries honor both God's call on your life and others' responsibility for theirs.

Reflection

Where do you need to establish boundaries - with your time, relationships, or commitments? What's one boundary you need to set this week?
