Day 63 of 365

The Blessing of Boundaries

Proverbs 4:23

Proverbs 4:23

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Reflection

Boundaries aren't walls; they're fences that keep good things in and harmful things out. Saying 'no' isn't selfish; it's self-care that enables you to say 'yes' to what matters. You can't serve everyone. You can't attend every event. You can't meet every need. Jesus had boundaries - He often withdrew to pray, said no to demands, and prioritized His mission. Healthy boundaries protect your time, energy, relationships, and calling. They prevent burnout and resentment. Set boundaries with toxic people, excessive commitments, unhealthy habits, and draining activities. Don't feel guilty for protecting your peace. 'No' is a complete sentence. Today, identify one boundary you need to establish. Maybe it's limiting social media, saying no to an extra commitment, or addressing a difficult relationship. Set the boundary. Protect your heart.
