Day 64 of 365
Work as Worship
1 Corinthians 10:31
1 Corinthians 10:31
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Insight
There's no sacred-secular divide. All work done for God's glory is worship. Whether you're preaching or plumbing, teaching or typing, parenting or programming - if you're doing it for God's glory, it's ministry. Excellence in your work honors God and witnesses to others. Your workplace is your mission field. Your work ethic preaches louder than your words. Let everything you do bring glory to God.
Reflection
How does viewing your daily work as worship change your attitude toward it? What would 'working as unto the Lord' look like in your current job?
