“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Insight
You're not uniquely broken because you face temptation—it's common to everyone. The difference isn't whether you're tempted, but how you respond. God promises two things: He limits the intensity (you can bear it), and He provides an escape route. Your job is to take the exit when He offers it. Don't linger at the door of temptation. Don't negotiate with sin. When God shows you the way out, run through it.
