Day 153 of 365
Spiritual Blindness
2 Corinthians 4:4
2 Corinthians 4:4
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
Insight
Unbelief isn't primarily intellectual—it's spiritual. People don't reject Jesus because the evidence is insufficient; they reject Him because spiritual blindness prevents them from seeing. This means your primary weapon in evangelism isn't better arguments—it's prayer. Pray that God would open blind eyes. Pray that the light of the gospel would break through. You can't argue someone into the kingdom, but God can open eyes that sin has closed.
Reflection
Who in your life is spiritually blind? How does understanding this change how you pray for and witness to them?
