Day 152 of 365

Walking in the Light

1 John 1:7

1 John 1:7

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

Reflection

Walking in the light means living transparently before God and others. No hidden sin. No secret shame. No pretense. When you walk in the light, two things happen: authentic fellowship and ongoing purification. You can't have deep community while hiding in darkness. Masks prevent connection. But when you're honest about struggles, others feel safe being honest too. And as you walk in the light, Jesus' blood continuously cleanses. You don't have to be perfect to walk in the light; you just have to be honest. Come out of hiding. Walk in the light.
