Day 151 of 365
The Blessing of Trials
James 1:2-4
James 1:2-4
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
Reflection
James doesn't say 'if' you face trials but 'when.' Trials aren't optional - they're inevitable. But here's the perspective shift: consider them joy. Not because pain is pleasant, but because trials produce something invaluable - perseverance, maturity, completeness. Every trial is a classroom where faith is tested and character is formed. Don't waste your trials by only asking 'Why me?' Ask 'What is God teaching me?' Let perseverance finish its work. The trial you're in is making you who you need to be.
