“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Insight
Apart from Jesus, you can do nothing of eternal value. This isn't about capability but dependency. You might accomplish impressive things in your own strength, but only what's done through Christ lasts. Remaining in Christ means constant connection, like a branch to a vine. The branch doesn't produce fruit through effort—it receives life from the vine and naturally produces fruit. Stay connected to Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and obedience. The fruit will come naturally.
