Day 190 of 365
Living With Purpose
Proverbs 19:21
Proverbs 19:21
“Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.”
Reflection
You can make plans - and you should - but ultimately, God's purpose prevails. This is comforting, not controlling. When your plans fail, God's purpose stands. When your dreams die, God's plan lives. Your job is to submit your plans to His purpose. Make goals. Dream big. Plan carefully. But hold loosely. If God redirects, follow. If He closes doors, trust. His purpose is always better than your plans. Live purposefully, but submit to His purpose.
