Day 268 of 365
Daily Dying
1 Corinthians 15:31
1 Corinthians 15:31
“I face death every day—yes, just as surely as I boast about you in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Insight
Paul died daily—not physically, but to self. Every day, he laid down his will, desires, and rights to follow Christ. This is the Christian life: daily dying. You don't die once and coast. You die daily. Every morning, you choose: self or Christ? Comfort or cross? Your way or His? Daily dying produces daily living. You can't experience resurrection life without daily crucifixion. Die daily. Live fully.
Reflection
What does dying daily look like for you? What do you need to lay down today to follow Christ fully?
