“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.”
Insight
God's love is great. His mercy is rich. When you were dead, He made you alive. This is lavish love—extravagant, undeserved, overwhelming. You didn't deserve life, but He gave it. You didn't earn mercy, but He poured it out. This is grace. Receive it. Marvel at it. Let it transform how you see yourself and others. You're alive because of His great love. Lavish love saved you.
