“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
Reflection
The Father's love is lavish - extravagant, abundant, overwhelming. He doesn't love you cautiously or sparingly; He lavishes love on you. You're His child. Not just called His child, but actually are His child. This is your identity. The world doesn't understand this love because they don't know the Father. But you do. Receive His lavish love. Live as His beloved child.
