Day 268 of 365
Prayer for Daily Following
Luke 9:23
Luke 9:23
“Then he said to them all: 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.'”
Prayer
Lord Jesus, following You requires daily self-denial. Help me take up my cross daily - not once, but every day. This means dying to my will, desires, and agenda to follow You. It's costly, uncomfortable, and countercultural. But it's the only way to be Your disciple. Help me deny myself. Pick up my cross. Follow You. In Your name, Amen.
