Day 251 of 365

The Narrow Gate

Matthew 7:13-14

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Reflection

The road to life is narrow. Few find it. Many choose the broad road that leads to destruction because it's easy, popular, and comfortable. The narrow road requires sacrifice, obedience, and surrender. It's not crowded. It's not popular. But it leads to life. Don't follow the crowd. Choose the narrow gate. It's harder, lonelier, and costlier. But it's the only way to life. Follow Jesus on the narrow road.
