Day 250 of 365

New Mercies Daily

Psalm 30:5

Psalm 30:5

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

Reflection

Weeping lasts for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Your current pain isn't permanent. Your present struggle won't last forever. Morning is coming. God's favor outlasts His anger. His mercies are new every morning. What feels overwhelming tonight will be met with God's grace tomorrow. Don't give up in the night season. Hold on. Morning is coming. Rejoicing is ahead. God's favor lasts a lifetime.
