Day 251 of 365
Prayer for the Narrow Gate
Matthew 7:13-14
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Prayer
Lord Jesus, the road to life is narrow. Few find it. Help me not follow the crowd on the broad road that leads to destruction. The narrow road requires sacrifice, obedience, and surrender. It's not crowded or popular. But it leads to life. Help me choose the narrow gate. It's harder, lonelier, and costlier. But it's the only way to life. In Your name, Amen.
