Day 187 of 365
Growing Through Trials
1 Peter 1:6-7
1 Peter 1:6-7
“In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
Reflection
Trials aren't accidents; they're appointments. They come to prove the genuineness of your faith like fire refines gold. Gold is valuable, but tested faith is more valuable. Trials reveal what you're truly made of. Will you trust God when life is hard? Will you worship in the storm? Will you obey when it costs you? Trials aren't fun, but they're purposeful. They're temporary. And they're producing something eternally valuable - proven faith. Endure. Your faith is being refined.
