Day 233 of 365
Treasured by God
Deuteronomy 7:6
Deuteronomy 7:6
“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.”
Insight
You're God's treasured possession. Not just tolerated or accepted, but treasured. God chose you out of all people to be His. You're precious to Him. This isn't based on your worthiness but His choice. He treasures you. When you grasp this truth, it transforms your self-image and your worship. You're not trying to become treasured; you are treasured. Live like someone who is.
Reflection
Do you see yourself as God's treasured possession? How does this truth change how you view yourself and live your life?
