Day 234 of 365
Pressing On
Philippians 3:14
Philippians 3:14
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Insight
Press on—don't stop, don't quit, don't give up. Paul hadn't arrived, but he kept pressing toward the goal. The Christian life requires forward momentum. You're not perfect, but you're moving in the right direction. The prize is ahead, not behind. Don't get stuck reminiscing about past victories or failures. Press on. Keep moving. The goal is heavenward. Run toward it with single-minded focus.
Reflection
Are you pressing forward or stuck looking back? What do you need to leave behind to press on toward God's calling?
