The Gift of Rest

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Insight
Jesus invites the weary to rest - not leisure or laziness, but soul rest. He offers to trade your heavy burdens for His light yoke. A yoke connects two animals for work, but Jesus' yoke is easy because He pulls with you. You're not meant to carry life alone. Margin, Sabbath, and rest aren't luxuries; they're divine invitations to work with Jesus rather than apart from Him.

What burdens are you carrying that Jesus wants to take? What would change if you truly believed His yoke is light and He's pulling with you?
