“The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.”
Insight
Worry chokes spiritual growth. You can hear God's Word clearly, but if you let anxiety take root, it strangles fruitfulness. Life's worries, pursuit of riches, and love of pleasures compete with God's Word for dominance in your heart. The result? Stunted growth. Immaturity. Unfruitfulness. Don't let anxiety choke out what God planted. Cast your cares on Him. Clear the thorns so His Word can grow.
