Day 215 of 365
Spiritual Wisdom
Colossians 1:9
Colossians 1:9
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.”
Insight
Spiritual wisdom comes from the Spirit, not education or experience. Paul prayed believers would be filled with knowledge of God's will through spiritual wisdom. You need the Spirit's insight to understand God's will. Human wisdom fails. Spiritual wisdom succeeds. Don't rely solely on your intellect. Ask the Spirit for wisdom and understanding. He gives insight that natural thinking can't produce.
Reflection
Are you pursuing spiritual wisdom through the Spirit, or are you relying only on human wisdom? What decision needs Spirit-led wisdom today?
