Day 224 of 365
Steadfast in Chaos
Psalm 46:1-2
Psalm 46:1-2
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
Insight
When everything falls apart—earth giving way, mountains crumbling—God remains your refuge and strength. He's not just available in calm; He's ever-present in chaos. This truth eliminates fear. You don't fear because your circumstances are stable; you don't fear because God is stable. He's your refuge when everything else fails. Anchor yourself to Him. He won't move even when everything around you does.
Reflection
What chaos or instability are you facing? How can God be your refuge and strength in this specific situation?
