Day 223 of 365
Crafted for Purpose
Isaiah 64:8
Isaiah 64:8
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
Insight
You're clay in the Potter's hands. He's shaping you with purpose, molding you into something useful and beautiful. The clay doesn't resist the Potter's hands or question His design. It yields. When you resist God's shaping—through trials, discipline, or circumstances—you're fighting the Potter. Trust His hands. He's creating something far better than you could design yourself. You're the work of His hand.
Reflection
Where are you resisting God's shaping in your life? How can you yield more fully to the Potter's hands?
