“Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.”
Insight
History is littered with people destroyed by pride - leaders who thought they were invincible, athletes who believed their own hype, businesses that ignored competition. Pride blinds you to weakness, closes you to correction, and sets you up for a fall. But humility - thinking less of yourself and more of others - positions you for honor. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Choose humility.
