Day 93 of 365

Prayer Against Pride

Proverbs 16:18

“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Prayer

Father, guard me from pride. Help me see that everything I have - talents, opportunities, achievements - is a gift from You. Keep me humble. When recognition comes, help me deflect glory to You. When I succeed, remind me it was Your grace. Clothe me in humility. Make me quick to admit mistakes and slow to boast. Pride leads to destruction, but humility leads to honor. In Jesus' name, Amen.
