Day 274 of 365
Old Gone, New Here
Ezekiel 36:26
Ezekiel 36:26
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Insight
God doesn't patch up your old heart—He gives you a new one. He removes the heart of stone (hard, unresponsive, dead) and gives a heart of flesh (soft, responsive, alive). This is total transformation, not minor improvement. Your new heart responds to God. It desires holiness. It's capable of love. Stop living from your old identity. You have a new heart and a new spirit. Live from your new nature. The old is gone. The new is here.
Reflection
Are you living from your old heart or your new heart? What would change if you fully embraced your new nature in Christ?
