Day 273 of 365
From Comfort to Comforter
Isaiah 51:12
Isaiah 51:12
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, men who are but grass?”
Insight
God Himself comforts you. Not distant sympathy but personal, powerful comfort. He's the God of all comfort who understands your pain because He experienced it through Christ. But here's the purpose: He comforts you so you can comfort others. Your pain isn't wasted—it's preparation for ministry. The comfort you receive today becomes the ministry you offer tomorrow. Receive His comfort deeply. Then generously give it away. You're not just comforted; you're equipped to comfort.
Reflection
What trial have you experienced where you received God's comfort? Who needs that same comfort from you today?
