Day 273 of 365
Prayer for Comfort and Comforting
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
Prayer
Father, You comfort me in all my troubles—not to make me comfortable, but to make me a comforter. The comfort I receive isn't just for me; it's for others. My pain has purpose. My suffering has meaning. You waste nothing. Help me receive Your comfort today and pass it on tomorrow. In Jesus' name, Amen.
