Day 83 of 365
Freedom from Comparison
2 Corinthians 5:9-10
2 Corinthians 5:9-10
“So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”
Insight
One day you'll stand before Jesus to give an account of your life. He won't ask why you weren't like someone else. He'll ask if you were faithful with what He gave you. Comparison is irrelevant because you're running a unique race. Stop measuring your mile 3 against their mile 15. Run your race. Please Him, not them.
Reflection
Who are you comparing yourself to? How would your life change if you focused only on pleasing Jesus with what He's given you?
