Prayer to Resist Gossip

Proverbs 16:28

“A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.”

Prayer

Lord, guard my lips from gossip. Help me refuse to listen to it or spread it. When someone starts gossiping, give me courage to stop the conversation. If I have an issue with someone, help me go directly to them. Let me build people up with my words, not tear them down. In Jesus' name, Amen.
