“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Prayer
Father, guard me from pride. Help me remember that everything I have is a gift from You. My talents, opportunities, accomplishments - all from Your hand. Keep me humble, teachable, and grateful. Help me think of myself less and serve others more. When recognition comes, may I deflect glory to You. When I succeed, may I remember it was Your grace. Clothe me in humility, knowing that You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. In Jesus' name, Amen.
