Day 15 of 365
Your Body, God's Temple
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”
Reflection
Taking care of your physical health isn't vanity - it's stewardship. Your body houses the Spirit of the living God. Every choice you make about food, exercise, rest, and health care is a spiritual decision. Neglecting your body limits your ability to serve God fully. Jesus modeled this balance - He worked hard, but also rested. He fed crowds, but also ate. He walked miles, but also withdrew to pray. Today, honor God by making one healthy choice: drink more water, take a walk, get more sleep, or schedule that overdue doctor's appointment.
