Day 110 of 365

The Practice of Solitude

Mark 1:35

Mark 1:35

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”

Reflection

If Jesus needed solitude, so do you. In a noisy, distracted world, solitude is countercultural but essential. It's intentionally withdrawing from people and noise to be alone with God. Not because you're antisocial, but because your soul needs quiet. Solitude allows you to hear God's voice, process life, and recharge spiritually. Today's culture equates busyness with importance, but Jesus modeled solitude. Schedule it. Protect it. Practice it. Your soul will thank you.
