Day 283 of 365
The Fear of the Lord
Proverbs 9:10
Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Reflection
Wisdom begins with fearing God. Not terror, but reverence. Awe. Respect. When you fear the Lord, you take Him seriously. You honor His Word. You obey His commands. You respect His authority. Without the fear of the Lord, you lack wisdom's foundation. You might have knowledge, but not understanding. Fear of the Lord is where wisdom starts. Do you fear God? Your answer determines your wisdom.
