Day 70 of 365
Hope for the Prodigal
Luke 15:20
Luke 15:20
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”
Reflection
If you're far from God, feeling like you've gone too far or messed up too much, listen: the Father is watching for you. He's not angry; He's waiting. He's not pointing His finger; He's opening His arms. You don't have to clean up before you come home. Come as you are. Broken. Ashamed. Empty. He'll restore you. The prodigal son wasted his inheritance, lived in sin, and hit rock bottom. But when he returned, his father didn't lecture him. He ran to him. Embraced him. Celebrated him. That's your Heavenly Father's heart toward you. Stop running. Turn around. Come home. Today, pray one simple prayer: 'Father, I'm coming home.' He's been waiting. He'll run to meet you.
