Day 34 of 365
Guard Your Heart
Proverbs 4:23
Proverbs 4:23
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Reflection
Your heart is the wellspring of your life. What goes into it eventually comes out in your attitudes, words, and actions. That's why you must guard it carefully. What are you allowing into your heart? What media are you consuming? What conversations are you having? What thoughts are you entertaining? Garbage in, garbage out. But good seed planted produces good fruit. Guard your heart by being selective about inputs. Limit negative news. Choose uplifting content. Spend time in Scripture. Surround yourself with positive people. Feed your mind truth. When you protect your heart, you protect your future. What needs to be filtered out today? What good thing needs to be let in?
