Day 27 of 365

Friendship as Spiritual Warfare

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

Reflection

Isolation is one of the enemy's favorite tactics. When you're alone, you're vulnerable to lies, discouragement, and sin. God designed you for community - not just church attendance, but genuine, deep friendships. Friends who know your struggles and still love you. Friends who call out your potential and confront your sin. Friends who pray for you, laugh with you, and show up in crisis. This level of friendship doesn't happen accidentally. It requires vulnerability, time, and commitment. Are you known? Do you have people who can speak truth into your life? If not, start small. Invite someone to coffee. Join a small group. Be honest about your need for connection. Authentic friendship is worth fighting for - it might even save your life.
