Day 28 of 365
When God Seems Silent
Psalm 13:1
Psalm 13:1
“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?”
Reflection
Sometimes God feels distant. You pray, but heaven seems silent. You worship, but experience no presence. You're not alone - even King David felt this way. The psalms are filled with his honest cries: 'How long, Lord?' Here's what matters: David didn't stop praying. His lament was still prayer. He brought his confusion, frustration, and pain directly to God. Silence doesn't mean God has abandoned you. Sometimes He's working behind the scenes. Sometimes He's teaching you to trust Him without feelings. Sometimes He's preparing you for something greater. Don't let silence drive you from God - let it drive you to Him. Keep showing up. Keep seeking. Keep believing. The sunrise always comes, even after the darkest night. Hold on.
