Day 26 of 365
Work as Worship
1 Corinthians 10:31
1 Corinthians 10:31
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Insight
Paul includes even eating and drinking to show that every activity can glorify God when done with the right heart. Your 'secular' work becomes 'sacred' when performed as an offering to God. Excellence at work honors Him. Integrity in business dealings witnesses to Him. Kindness to difficult coworkers reflects Him. You don't need to be in 'full-time ministry' to serve God full-time - you're already there.
Reflection
How would your approach to work change if you viewed every task as an opportunity to worship God? What would excellence look like in your specific role?
