“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Insight
Nothing can separate you from God's love. Not your sin, not your failure, not your doubt, not your circumstances. Paul lists everything conceivable—death, life, angels, demons, present, future, powers, height, depth—and declares none of it can separate you from God's love in Christ. This is absolute security. God's love isn't based on your performance. It's secured by Christ's work. When you feel distant from God, remember: He hasn't moved. His love is unchanging and unshakeable.
