Day 282 of 365
Testing Produces Maturity
James 1:4
James 1:4
“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
Insight
Trials test your faith. Testing produces perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work. Why? To make you mature and complete, lacking nothing. The process matters. If you quit mid-trial, you abort what God is producing. Let perseverance finish. Don't cut short what God is completing. The trial isn't enjoyable, but the product is valuable. You're becoming mature, complete, lacking nothing. That's worth enduring the test. Let the process finish.
Reflection
What trial are you tempted to quit? What maturity is God producing through this specific test?
