Day 112 of 365
Standing Firm in Pressure
1 Corinthians 15:58
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
Insight
Pressure to compromise is constant. Cultural trends pressure you to bend biblical truth. Social circles pressure you to hide your faith. Workplace demands pressure you to cut corners. But Paul says stand firm. Let nothing move you. Not popular opinion. Not peer pressure. Not personal cost. Stand firm on God's Word, His truth, and His ways. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Reflection
Where are you currently feeling pressure to compromise your faith or values? What would 'standing firm' look like in that situation?
