“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.”
Insight
Children are arrows - designed to be launched into the world to hit targets you may never reach. Your job as a parent isn't to keep them close forever but to shape them, aim them, and release them for God's purposes. This requires intentional spiritual formation: prayer, Scripture, modeling authentic faith, and speaking identity. Point your arrows toward heaven, and trust God to direct their flight.
