Day 30 of 365
Present with God
Psalm 46:10
Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Insight
In our noisy, hurried world, being still is countercultural. But God invites us to stop striving, stop performing, and simply be present with Him. Stillness isn't about physical inactivity but about internal quietness - creating space to hear His voice, experience His presence, and remember His sovereignty. When we're still, we remember that He is God and we are not, and that truth brings profound peace.
Reflection
When was the last time you were truly still before God - no agenda, no requests, just being with Him? What would it look like to build stillness into your daily rhythm?
